Your Own Weight Loss Boot Camp
I’m really enjoying losing body fat at the moment with my own weight loss boot camp
It’s fun too! So what does it entail?
The concept is to exercise at high intensity for short periods of time to burn mostly fat for energy and still need to eat frequently (but only healthy foods).
The best time to target fat for energy is after you wake up in the morning before breakfast. Then your body has no option but to burn fat for energy. You can still eat breakfast, but this should be the reward after the early morning exercise, if you still want it. But I do suggest that you eat something for it’s nutritional value.
I tried this today and it was amazing. I did have a mug of tea beforehand though to be sociable with my wife before she headed for work. What I did was to cycle to a cool place to do sprints and jogging.
I did 8 sets of 30 second jogs followed by 30 seconds of flat out sprinting. If you are well over weight then you can do what you are comfortable with, even if it’s only fast walking alternating with slow walking 30 seconds per burst x 8 or just 6 to start with. Whatever works for you in your present condition. This will move you forward to a new fitter self.
I got this done in about 25 minutes (including 16 minutes of bike ride to get to and from the location) and it was really hard but very satisfying.
I’m doing daily activity now like this so I look forward to sharing more if there is an interest from you guys …
p.s. it’s the fat me in the photo, I should post a new photo when I am ready for the beach later next year!
