Quick Workout

Today I felt bad after staying up too late and consuming too much wine. So to punish myself, I did this workout:

Luckily I had all the equipment required: bench, dumbells and an exercise ball.

The workout is very exhausting but only takes a short while to complete. I did it in 17 minutes which according to Arnel, the trainer is good. However I wasn’t too happy with my strength in the lunges and stomach crunches (I couldn’t perform the full range of motion for all the reps). I am sure that this must be a very effective workout for rapid gaining of fitness.

However, if you are very overweight I think you will struggle with some of the moves.

Here is how top rate yourself:
10-20 minutes: Your are truly “Tough Enough”
21-25 minutes: You are in great shape.
26-30 minutes: You are average.
31-40 minutes: You should work out more.

He is getting a cult following on YouTube I think since posting a video showing the amazing body transformation he went through to get 6 pack Abs.

Actually I feel pretty good now after the workout with tired muscles so I will be doing this routine a couple of times a week from now on.

During winter I only went for 2 runs so I really need to get back into shape. Last week I did the second run and a bike ride which made my knee ache. So I guess I was doing too much too soon but I think I will be up for another run on Sunday.

Time to focus on getting into great shape by the summer time and hitting the beach.
