Problems With Being Overweight
Hey, let’s share here our problems with being overweight Let’s be honest and constructive with our comments.
First of all, I am 6′ 1″ and weigh 209 lbs (96 kgs, 15 stone) so I am overweight but not badly so.
My problems are:
- Looking overweight e.g. flab around the mid section and my face not looking lean
- Excessive sweat in summer – I sweat so easily and am dripping sweat after even mild exertion – it’s so annoying
- Tight clothes – especially trousers
- Makes exercise hard
- Injuries take longer to recover from such as my knee meniscus tear
Causes of being overweight:
- Love of red wine – I drink it like some people consume water
- Desk-bound job – not exactly a job but I can do all my work sitting on my butt at home
- Boredom – in the evenings I am doing the same kind of thing that I did in the daytime since I work from home
Good things that I do:
- I drink quite a lot of water
- I avoid alcohol before 5pm
- I don’t consume sugary things such as cakes
- I regularly exercise
- I selectively watch TV
- I minimize stress in my life
- I enjoy helping people
