Lose Weight with Straws
As crazy as it sounds there was a program on Japanese TV about how to reduce your waistline using drinking straws. Candidates tried the system for 2 weeks and there were impressive results. Their weight didn’t change much but the waist measurements in everybody was significantly reduced.
The waist size reduction was between 2.5cm and 8cm Also, these were not particularly overweight people in the first place as you may appreciate if you ever see Japanese women in a crowd.
Before you try this be warned that it puts extra stress on your heart so seek doctors advice before you contemplate trying this out.
The way it works is to exercise the abdominal muscles in your tummy area to tighten them up but without having to do any crunches or gym work.
Anyway, here is the method:
- Take a standard plastic drinking straw
- Cut it in half
- Squash one end with your fingers
- Apply a piece of cellotape to block off half of the air gap
- Now breath in normally but breath out only through the straw
So it’s much harder to breath out than normal. This is what is working the abs!
Remember to do this for 3 minutes per day, everyday for 2 weeks and hopefully you too will see some dramatic waist size reduction as I saw on this TV program.
