Getting Ready For Summer
I know how hard it is to get back in shape after the Winter. But at least the weather is warmer now.
Yesterday I went for a run again and it was hard but enjoyable to get out and see the hills and stuff. I didn’t run continuously but had some quick stops to get my breath back.
Today I did the “quick workout” that I mentioned in an earlier post. I realized that I must have missed the 20 Chest Presses before, that explains my quick time the first time around. I was looking at notes I made on a piece of paper.
Today I felt better able to do the correct movements and completed the routine in 20 minutes and 17 seconds. It does make a big difference when you have prior experience of doing a circuit of training.
This is a great routine to try out and if you cannot do it with dumbbells, why not try it without them?
To replace the bench for step ups, I think you could use your stairs.
Also, the incline press could be done by using your stairs in a push-up position since it is at about 45 degrees and not so hard but not too easy.
Certainly the stomach exercises are hard if you have a big waist. In this case, you could try basic crunches to at least tighten your tummy muscles.
p.s. I’m sorry I didn’t get back to my mentoring students soon, only 2 people subscribed so far so I hope you will enjoy my blog posts and be patient until I have say 100 people ready for the boot camp.
Thank you very much for your interest in my web site and I know a lot of people visit and I really look forward to helping you out.
Please post a comment to encourage me to post more! Also, make sure you do some exercise however small it is and let us know what you did
