Dodging Rain
Today I wanted to do a short run but the weather was closing in with rain clouds looming.
The night before I had consumed a delicious small bag of Cashew Nuts so I really needed to compensate for this with a 30 minute run.
As I headed out, within about 1 minute the rain was starting so I looked up at the sky to check out the cloud movement and alas, the dark clouds were headed my way so I headed back home over say 200 meters where the rain intensified and I made it back just before a big downpour.
About 20 minutes later it was over with some brightness in the sky again so out I went.
Luckily the dry held out for the full 27 minutes that I ran beside the river. I saw one young guy had cycled to a pedestrian underpass to jog between each exit over and over. He didn’t look like he was having much fun but by now the weather was OK and I made it home OK.
I guess I will take it easy on Sunday and maybe go visit a sports shop to look for a combined multi-impact (ASTMF-1492) Skateboard and Snowboard helmet. More on this later …
