Desperate to Lose Weight Quickly

If you are desperate to lose weight quickly I have a possible non-surgical solution. It involves exercise and nutrition but in a controlled environment. The program lasts for 9 weeks and you are virtually certain to lose weight.

The rate of weight loss will vary between individuals but a target that is considered satisfactory is 3-8 pounds of weight loss per month.

At the start of the program you will be weighed. Then your weight measurement together with your height, age and gender are used to assess your current condition. If you are over-weight, you will then have a body fat assessment.

Now onto the specific weight loss program. It is the US Army Basic Combat Training. Did this surprise you? Maybe you were shocked but I am serious. If you are truly desperate to lose weight then this is a valid method.

In the 9 week training program you will undergo physical training as part of a team of fellow trainees under the guidance of expert instructors. Plus, you will be provided with optimum nutrition to meet your needs.

You will be too occupied during this full-time training program to feed on snacks and cheat. It’s just 9 weeks so why not give it a shot? This training should also give you a stronger mind to control your weight in the future.

To get started, you will need to investigate becoming a Soldier in the Army Reserve which you can do online. I am assuming you want to continue with your studies if you are a student or continue with your career if employed.

Once the basic training is over, your body should be transformed and, to maintain your condition, you will attend one weekend a month for training and a two-week Field Training Exercise once a year.

If you are not a US citizen, I am sure you can find a similar program in your country.

    Best way to lose weight is running ,Always Warm up before running and start slow and increase speed gradually.

    @James – maybe so but not everyone is able to run. Power walking and body weight exercises may be better to start off with.

    p.s. I run but never warm up before the run. I find that a low intensity run does not require a warm up. The same goes for swimming. I just do smooth movements so I don’t over do things during the first 5 minutes of the run/swim.

    I think that if you are very overweight, then you should walk rather than run and gradually build up your stamina and speed with the goal to eventually start running.

    If you live in an urban area, consider driving to a nice park to do this where you can enjoy the views and plants etc. maybe this would be on your way home from work?

    Nice article, lose weight is a way of life, you need to think about your body it is your shrine.Think about what you eat, what you drink and what you do…after all, you just ‘pay’ for it in time…It start with extra the what can be seen – F A T….But the real problems are inside…and when you feel them… I also recommended YOGA as a way of life.Thanks,Sigal.
