Burn Calories Fast Revisited
I posted before about how to burn calories fast, but here’s another approach to take. It involves fooling your body.
Anything that you do on a regular basis becomes routine and you learn how to do it on autopilot. You body is the same. It adapts to what it gets used to doing.
If you run at a steady pace a few times per week to burn calories and lose fat, you body will adjust to the familiar activity making it harder for you to get results.
The same kind of thing happens with diets where people hit a plateau once their body adapts to the diet. Even a starvation diet may not work since your body will sense an emergency situation and burn a minimum number of calories to preserve your energy levels.
So to burn calories fast, you need to prevent your body storing them as fat. So when you exercise, do different activities and different movements. The best example is with sport where the movements you make are unpredictable. You sprint, jump, duck and dive all randomly as the game progresses.
Compare this with the gym or jogging. Here we have repetitive, predictable movements that your body quickly adapts to. For example, if you move a weight as part of your routine, at first it seems hard but after a few workouts it becomes straightforward and not much of a challenge. Also, your jog around the block may become easy and relaxed.
To avoid this situation, you should vary what you do. When out running, go for different routes and terrain and vary your pace and distance. Put in some sprints and rests.
In the gym, vary the speed of movement, order of exercises, weight and repetitions.
Varying the way you exercise in this way should also make your workouts more fun too.
